With this program you develop real-life experience as a Scrum Master. The course is broken up in 5 weeks: the first week is for orientation and training, then in the following four weeks you execute 4 Sprints while acting as Scrum Master on the team.

Learn how to setup and use Jira, Trello, and Miro for managing sprints and tracking projects.

Work on a real project to develop a digital and physical product. Develop appreciation for the Product Owner role by taking responsibility for planning the work on a project.

Practical Experience to Become a Scrum Master

Introduction and project setup
Introduction to the program, team formation, setup project board in Miro, and learn how to use Jira and Trello

Execute your first Sprint
Setup your project in Jira, organize the Product Backlog, and create the Sprint Backlog for sprint 1. You run Daily Scrum with your team for alignment, and a Retrospective at the end of the Sprint.

Build your online store
In sprint 2, you create an online store and start posting your products. This real-life application let's you practice running a sprint and delivering value to customers.

Practice Sprint Review
While your store grows and you add more products, in this sprint you practice running a Sprint Review meeting. You use it to get feedback from your customers and learn more about the products you sell.

Promote your product
In Sprint 4, you further expand your store and start promoting it with a marketing campaign. In the meantime, you track the progress of your sprint and the overall product, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Every week, this is Sprint Planning for a new sprint. We do weekly sprints.
45 minute meeting, pick the time that works for you.

This is a weekly coaching calls to review progress, practice a Daily Scrum or Retrospective, and provide support as needed.
60 minute meeting, pick the time that works for you.
2 to 4 hours per week
Hands-on work using a list of PBIs in your Sprint Backlog to organize the sprint, and a burn-down to track the progress. Solo or with a team.

He’s the CEO of 5D Vision, an agile and product innovation consulting firm based in Washington DC.
He is the co-author of Sprint Your Way to Scrum, and the author of Deliver Great Products That Customers Love. He also hosts Product Bytes, a video channel on Product Management, Innovation, and Agile topics.
Valerio is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) with the Scrum Alliance, a Certified Product Innovation Trainer (CPIT) with Spark Engine, and a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
