Who is this course for?

01

Sales Leaders trying to motivate their teams during challenging times. You worry that they're becoming apathetic and may have checked out.

02

Customer Success Leaders looking to drive better outcomes by creating more ownership and empowerment. You're tired of babysitting.

03

Founders who lack a sales background. Sales words like accountability and drive are awkward, like you're trying to speak a foreign language.

What you'll get from this course

A deep dive into each team member's unique talents, values, and abilities, with immediately actionable steps to engage them.

Every seller is unique and requires something different from their manager to perform at their best. As a leader, if you don't know what that "something" is, you worry. We will help you identify each seller's needs so that you can shed that nagging feeling and help them get there

A proven framework and implementation tools so that you can relax and trust that your sellers are "all in" and doing the right things.

Get out from under the fear. Understand the contributing factors in a trusting relationship, identify the gaps with each seller, and create a ready-to-go plan to bridge those gaps.

A statistically valid report assessing your mastery of emotional intelligence.

Using the EIQ-2 assessment, you will receive data on your skill in recognizing and managing your emotions and those of the people you lead. You will uncover the blind spots that may be limiting you as a manager.

A clear path to garner the trust of your team.

Do your reps trust you? Using our framework, you will gain insight into your current performance on the factors that make you trustworthy as a leader. Create a plan to become the leader that people are loyal to and not want to let down.

A plan for cultivating a culture of deep caring with your team, while keeping it real.

Trust is mission-critical but isn't enough to sustain a top-notch team over time. You need to use words and deeds to recognize each seller in a super meaningful way. They'll feel lifted and cared for, which ripples out to clients and peers for better sales results and more fun!

1:1 Coaching Session

Despite the best intentions, it is difficult to retain and implement everything you learn in a workshop. To help you get the most from this course, we are including a 1:1 coaching session in March to help you cement your learnings and overcome any hurdles.

I spent 20 years as a sales leader with Pearson, beginning in my mid-twenties. Early on, I learned to study my peers and take the best from the best (I learned a lot of things the hard way too). Over time, I built multiple top-performing teams, experienced zero negative turnover, and increased sales by $60M. In 2017, I founded Thrive to Lead, where I coach sales leaders to exceed their goals while leading with authenticity and joy. I want this for you and can help you get there! Course syllabus

01

Learn the Trust + Love = High Performance Framework

Trust is a product of competency, integrity, authenticity, and connecting on a high purpose. A team with high marks on those ingredients might win some of the time. But they won't consistently win, unless they also care for each other. No love, no consistent high performance--reps jump ship, morale wanes, disfunction creeps in.

02

Evaluate and Map the Best Engagement Tools for each Rep

Evaluate your team, one rep at a time, on the parameters that diagnose how best to engage each one individually. Learn how the key leadership skills of accountability, strengthening rapport, proving tailored training, and connecting on a higher purpose, each become tools to improve performance and build trust.

03

Build Your High Performance Blueprint

We don't engage a monolithic team, we engage individuals. Build out specific next steps you will take with each individual team member. We guide you through a proven method of determining what to do with each unique player on your team.

04

Assess your EQ, Reflect, and Level-Up

In order to cultivate an environment of trust and love on your team, you'll need a high EQ. Interpret your assessment results and identify the greatest opportunities to grow as a leader.

05

Design Actions to Lift and Cultivate Love as a Leader

Engagement is tightly correlated with recognition. This may be the easiest way to motivate your team: recognize, acknowledge, appreciate. We build a plan to lift each team member. But words aren't enough. We also must show and cultivate love to unleash your team's true potential.

06

Execute Flawlessly

In your 1:1 coaching session, you'll be coached on how to effectively execute your plan, ask questions, and address any areas where you would like some additional help.
