Course overview
Are you tired of being the emotional firefighter in your business, putting out drama-fueled fires instead of leading with vision? Step into a new kind of leadership that goes beyond managing people—empowering you to master emotional regulation and eliminate drama before it disrupts your team's success. Join us and discover how to coach your team toward accountability, alignment, and powerful communication.
You have access to a powerful secret...the best leaders dig into the superpower of a modern humanized leader. They master emotional regulation - they regulate the emotional temperature - and get a balanced and productive workplace.
Humans are naturally emotional, and the pressures of today's work environment are amplifying emotional stress like never before. The result? Fractured communication, stalled productivity, and a team lacking accountability.
It’s frustrating, right?
Instead of leading a team that’s rowing together toward success, you're stuck mediating petty disputes, managing gossip, and extinguishing fires. Your days are filled with emotional negotiations instead of focusing on the big-picture vision.
But here's the good news: it doesn’t have to be this way.
You can reshape your leadership and guide your team toward alignment, clear communication, and productivity. You can become the leader who spots emotional dysfunction before it spirals and redirect it with ease. By coaching others, you’ll help your team step up, and perhaps find their own personal leadership at the same time.
Â
In her international best-selling book, The Humanized Leader, Mary Pat Knight draws upon the thousands of students taught to demonstrate this isn’t about demanding more or shaming your team into compliance. It’s about using a proven approach to spot drama quickly, provide constructive feedback that drives change, and empower your team to take ownership and lead with confidence.
Tall order? Yes! But that’s exactly why this course is for you.

When you can measure your level of EQ (Emotional Intelligence) and understand how to activate the Emotional Leadership Framework, you can make great leadership decisions. What's more, you can spot disregulation in others and know what to do to coach others to their own Humanized Leadership.
The Emotional Leadership Framework
Measure Your Level of Emotional Intelligence
Humans like things to stay the same - there is a feeling of emotionally safety when I know where and who and what I am. Humanized Leaders know that if anything is true, it is that life and business growth are all about change and managing reactions to that change. Find out how you operate inside and outside of your comfort zone and learn skills to support others on your team to successfully navigate change.
The Comfort Zone
Practice Expanding Your Zone
As a leader, you have a choice. You can either react or respond to situations, people and your environment. When you are unaware, you default to familiar reactions. This is you getting caught up in a trigger reaction. When you see or feel them coming, you are equipped to choose your Humanized Leadership. What's more, you have compassion for others and the skills to coach them to responsive leadership too.
Triggers!!
The Trigger to Leader Strategy
The Drama Triangle behaviors are morale killers. They are familiar, often tolerated, but deadly to culture. They rob you of accountability, productivity and strip away engagement. When you understand them, see them quickly, and take good leadership action, everything changes for the better.
