Course overview
Generative AI is penetrating every area of the workplace. Gen AI tools provide HR professionals and people managers with opportunities to reimagine and optimize processes, from recruiting and onboarding to training, performance management and development, and employee experience. Gen AI is new and comes with challenges, but as an HR professional and people manager, you need to be prepared for this moment, so that you can leverage Gen AI for your organization.
Gen AI is also an amazing digital assistant that helps you perform people analytics regardless of data literacy or in-depth analytics expertise and instantly answers all your people questions. People Analytics is rapidly becoming an essential tool for improving individual performance, enhancing employee experience, and achieving business goals. Gen AI will enable you to dive into your organization’s data, get your workforce questions answered, and deliver insights in the moments that matter to empower your everyday actions and also your big operational and strategic moves.
This is a hands-on program where you will develop a number of practical skills, such as how to do advanced prompt engineering for HR processes but also how to explore and analyze data using Gen AI and how to visualize data. Moreover, you will learn how to perform appropriate and advanced prompting, ask the right questions, understand the problems at hand, and share insights. You will work with real-world examples, specifically developed HR databases and case studies, running data analyses and making recommendations based on your findings.
Along with live online class sessions, the course includes 1:1 coaching sessions during office hours that offer personalized guidance to any workshop participant who would like to build their own Gen AI for HR use cases.

Olivia has co-founded CEFI, the Centre for Inclusion at Work, offering consulting and training services to organizations on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion at work. She has also founded ImasterPA network that offers consulting and educational services in the area of People Analytics, AI in HR, Digital HR, and management and leadership skills for the digital workspace. Olivia is an executive coach with a distinguished professional and academic record, and vast experience in executive education.

Weekly projects
1 hour per week
Workshop participants will be able to work every week on relevant projects and develop their Gen AI and people analytics skills in practice. Workshop instructors will be available by email and during office hours throughout the week for any questions.
