What you’ll get out of this course

Identify a real-world problem worth solving

Learn to validate your business idea through user interviews and MVP testing so you can confidently decide what to build or pivot.

Get hands-on with user research by interviewing real people who experience the problem. Learn about MVP, and how to test your idea with potential users. Learn how to refine or pivot based on their feedback just like real founders do.

Create a one-page startup plan using the proven tool, the Business Canvas framework and create a plan customized to your idea and user insig

Build a customized Business Canvas for your idea, outline your user, problem, solution, how will the business make money, and what will make it stand out (your competitive edge). This will help you organize your thinking and communicate your idea clearly to others.

Craft and deliver a 60-second startup pitch

Learn how to present your idea confidently with a pitch format used by real founders. You’ll walk away with a tested pitch you can start using for competitions, interviews, investor meetings or even for your college admission essays.

Develop a founder’s mindset

Think like a real entrepreneur. Learn to take risks, take feedback, and fine-tune through uncertain times. By the end, you won’t just understand startup thinking you’ll embody it.

Demonstrate you're a builder, not just a thinker

Colleges and mentors love self-starters. This course gives you a tangible project, user research, and a real pitch you can showcase in applications, interviews, or competitions.
