Meet your instructor
Mark Palmer
Mark is the former CEO of Streambase, was named Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, and head of analytics and data products at TIBCO, a $1.3 billion Silicon Valley technology innovator.
In these roles, he's been responsible for creating 17-time-leading software products in the AI, real-time, data science, and database industry. He serves on the board of Correlation One, the Data Visualization Society, and Talkmap.
He also serves as "Mentor of Program Mentors" for Correlation One's Data Science for All program, teaches for Modal Learning, and writes for Forbes, the Data Leadership Collaborative, and Nightingale.

MIT Research: Experimental Evidence on the Productivity Effects of Generative Artificial Intelligence
New research from MIT confirms what GenAI proponents already know: it boosts productivity and improves the quality of our work. This study challenged 444 college-educated professionals to write press releases, reports, and delicate emails. Half the group used ChatGPT, and the other half didn’t. They were incentivized to receive a top score.
The results reveal good and bad news about the relationship between humans and AI.
