Course overview
Emotional self-awareness and emotional expression are the cornerstones of emotional intelligence, well-being and resilience. This course will teach you how to recognize & stop the energy drain, increase resilience and become the engaged leader you and your team deserve.

New managers
This is the first step to becoming the emotionally intelligent leader you've been hearing about.

Managers with 1-6 years of experience
Shift and reset to give yourself more energy to engage your team.

Take this time for self-care to avoid burnout. Reinvigorate yourself and really show up for your team.
Understand how energy = resilience
You'll become aware of situations that renew your energy, stressors that drain you & apply key concepts that build energy and resilience.
Stop energy drains
Practice breathing techniques that will help you shift, reset and begin to improve emotional self-awareness and self-expression.
Connect Resilience to HRV
You'll know what's going on in your body that can affect your energy capacity and how to increase your heart-rate variability baseline.
Begin With Mindset
Use HeartMath techniques to increase positive attitudes and communicate more effectively with your team.

Leadership Coach | HeartMath Certified Mentor | Retired US Navy Flight Officer
Jeremy retired as a Naval Flight Officer in 2018 after a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy. During his military service, he qualified as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor for the Navy and Air Force and logged more than 2,500 hours of flight time in multiple aircraft, most of which were during combat in the skies over Afghanistan and Iraq. Jeremy also served as a tactical leader in two squadrons, taught Leadership and Ethics to graduating seniors at Old Dominion University, and commanded the Navy Reserve Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Today, Jeremy works with companies to improve their competitive advantage by establishing strong leaders and resilient teams. He also supports the learning and development profession by serving as a volunteer leader of the Association for Talent Development Fort Worth/Mid-Cities Chapter, an organization which champions professionals in talent development through outstanding programs and building relationships.
Jeremy is the founder of Alpha-Logos, helping leaders Begin With Mindset and implement leadership competencies in an emotionally intelligent way. He is also the co-founder of Collective Resilience Institute, an authorized training partner of the Resilience-Building Leader Program.

Join growth-minded leaders for four interactive sessions.
Oct. 18, 21, 25 & 28
Tuesdays & Fridays, 1:00pm - 2:30pm ET
Each session will be 90 minutes that include breakouts, sharing, and discussions.
Weekly projects
< 3 hours per week
A few short habit-generating assignments that enable awareness and build a baseline of resilience.
