What people are saying

James embodies the type of investor you want in your corner from day 1. Many investors claim they want to be a value-add investor, but James is the real deal and is on your team. We have worked with many angels and James is at the top in terms of hands on, value add
Anthony Reo

Anthony Reo

Co-founder & COO, Bunch.ai
As a first-time founder, having James as an angel investor has been incredibly valuable. He is very knowledgeable on commercial topics, but he has a rare ability to be a sounding board on a much wider area of topics and help you form better and more strategic opinions. You always leave a chat with James smarter and more energized than you started
Pauline Glikman

Pauline Glikman

Co-founder & CEO, Payflows
James was our very first investor and has diverse global business experience, which means he can give actionable insight on various topics. He’s great at guiding strategic direction and helping to deal with the day-to-day operational issues that regularly arise in a startup

It has been nothing short of brilliant working with James. He's the first to pitch in with practical support, whether user testing our product, or listening to me rant on the tough days. James is the epitome of an awesome angel investor, and i'm excited to see him sharing his wisdom with the next generation of angel investors.

Angel Investor and VC Partner at Antler; senior exec at Airbnb, Google and SeatGeek; one of Debrett's 500 Most Influential People in the UK

Over the past 5 years, I've made over 50 angel investments, become a VC Partner with Antler and invested alongside Tier 1 VC funds like Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund and Atomico.

I'm an operator investor who learned to balance full-time work and parenthood alongside angel investing.

I'm passionate about developing angels and start-ups because of the life-changing opportunities technology can bring - which is why I'm building this course.

If you’re a senior tech executive who finds it hard to devote the time to angel investing and feel like you're missing out on a potential unicorn, then this course is for you.

I bring the experience from my current VC role investing millions of dollars each year and 15+ years as a senior executive at companies like Airbnb, Google and SeatGeek.

Outside of investing or coaching, you'll find me listening to grime, playing with my 2 year old son or planning my next adventure - I've driven tuk-tuks across India and Indonesia; and I've ridden a monkey bike across the Sahara to raise money for charity.
