Course overview
In this 2-week course you’ll create a strategy to focus your efforts, learn techniques to uncover rich insights and build confidence, and design an integrated Discovery process to inform critical product decisions.

Create clarity and focus for the team
The journey to Product-Market Fit is hazy, but it’s possible to find focus and avoid distractions. You’ll start by creating a product strategy that gives your team a clear direction without prescribing premature solutions.
Prioritize your riskiest assumptions
Many founders focus on validating the problem and their product’s value proposition. While important, these are only 2 of the many dimensions of a new product. You’ll learn a framework to evaluate all relevant dimensions and prioritize your efforts.
Use the best techniques to gain insight and build confidence
You don’t always need a functioning product to get strong signals. You’ll learn various techniques to test hypotheses, when to use them, and how to apply them to your context to build conviction.
Make better decisions and sharpen your product sense over time
A great product is the result of a cascade of good decisions. You'll learn an approach to Discovery that will identify critical questions and enable you to make informed decisions quickly.
Demonstrate early traction to investors and stakeholders
With this flexible yet systematic approach to Product Discovery, you'll be able to hone in on what matters for your product and be equipped to build and maintain support from investors and stakeholders.
Insights for Product-Market Fit
Failing to get to product-market fit is painful. As a product leader, you believe in your product’s potential to help people and impact the world and the business. When that doesn’t materialize, many are left wishing “if only we had more time.”
I want to help product leaders build the right product faster by focusing their approach to Discovery, so that more great products can fulfill their promise of impact.
I sharpened this approach to Product Discovery over 15 years creating new-to-the-world products, most recently as a Senior Product Design Director at IDEO U. I worked with Fortune 500 companies and mission-driven organizations, leading cross-functional product teams to build human-centered experiences and businesses, based on unique insights.
In addition to building great products, I’m passionate about nurturing talent and coaching future product leaders.
