Course overview
Analytics and Communication are two of LinkedIn's ten Most In-Demand Skills for 2023. Data visualizations communicate analytical insights in an easily consumable format, and Tableau is the gold-standard no-code business intelligence software for creating engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and insightful dashboards. Over the course of a weekend and a Monday night, you'll get the most comprehensive introduction to the software possible, directly from a Tableau Ambassador.
01
Aspiring data visualization developers desiring to kick-start your learning path. (This course is now a prerequisite to my six-week course.)
02
Business users who desire a better understanding of Tableau in order that they may make more effective decisions with data.
03
Individuals who used Tableau previously but need a refresher including the latest updates.
Over a weekend and a weekday evening, you'll create a professional-looking dashboard worthy of your portfolio using real-world data sets and a realistic business use case.
You'll leave my course having never made the typical beginner dataviz mistakes and with some easy tips and tricks to level-up your dashboard design.
You'll be prepared for my six-week course or further learning and exploration on your own.

Data Visualization Engineer
A naturally visual learner and communicator, Nicole created her first visualizations—maps of real and imaginary worlds—in MacPaint on her family's original Apple Macintosh. (Yes, the beige one.)
Now, she analyzes and visualizes data in Tableau and with code—on a Mac, of course! She puts her English degree and love of writing to work in her blog, SELECT * FROM data;, leads Women in Dataviz, is a Tableau Social Ambassador, and co-leads the Healthcare Tableau User Group.
Nicole recently won the Stats+Stories Data Visualization Contest. She was nominated for three Vizzies in 2022 and three in 2023.
