How to decide the business objective before we go looking for partners. What do complementary partners look like?

Landing the deal: How to get a 'not NO' irrespective of their size and scale

Seek partnerships with a clear alignment of incentives. Stand for something, but partner outside your core. Whether your business is embarking on vertical or horizontal integration, the considerations are the same

Defining business objectives and negotiating shared metrics to measure success

The best partnerships are built around a common mission that is well understood and roles that are well defined.

Establishing the right execution model for long term success

Set targets and goals, report on them, and make adjustments accordingly. And when something works, go big! Know when and how to recalibrate the execution model with a partner

Deciding when to go big or walk away irrespective of length of partnership

You need to review the value of your partners regularly, preferably on a quarterly basis. Long term cost benefit analysis of a partnership
