Hey I'm Mike. I'm former entrepreneur, behavioral scientist, and advisor to the United Nations. I first learned how to meditate in 2007 with Ajaan Buddhasak in Thailand. I've studied with Eckhart Tolle and Sadhguru at his ashram in India. For years, I've taught social entrepreneurs how to meditate and improve their wellbeing on retreats around the world. I also support humanitarian aid workers in times of crises.
In 2019, after selling my company, I started a meditation center in Cambodia. The concept was to teach meditation in a modern way, while also helping students learn at the Temples of Angkor Wat. We were just starting to pick up, then COVID happened.
We all remember that it was a hard time for many. On a whim, I asked on FB if anyone wanted to do a meditation retreat in the comfort of their home. In the first year of COVID, over 100 people did a 24-hour Meditation Retreat!
This course is the result of many iterations, all aimed at helping people like you learn meditation more easily and make it part of your daily life.

Opening Circle
Feb 18 or 19 (depending on time zone)
In this session, you will meet other meditators and see how the meditation retreat works in more detail.
Retreat preparation, lessons, and practice
2-3 hours (self-paced)
You'll watch and read video lessons while practicing 10 minutes of daily meditation techniques at home. I'll be there to answer any questions you have asynchronously.
The 24-Hour Meditation Retreat
24 hours (i.e. Sat 10am until Sun 10am)
For the retreat itself, you will choose a 24-hour period during the course that you can block from 10am until 10am the next day.
Closing Circle
March 3 or 4 (depending on time zone)
In this session, you will share wins, aha moments, and your meditation plan going forward.
