Course overview
A first principles framework is the essential tool you need to understand the value of a decision, communicate that value to others and make prioritization decisions.
This course will teach you how to build a decision framework for any situation - whether it is to prioritize bugs, feature requests or big bet ideas.
And, you'll get free access to a digital platform that will you to manage your framework on an ongoing basis
01
Product management professionals who need to communicate their ideas to higher ups and to customers
02
Business leaders who need to create buy-in and alignment with investors, their peers, and the teams they manage
03
Entrepreneurs building a business, or looking to start their new ideas. Your success rests on getting the world to buy into your idea
You'll be able to design frameworks to make prioritization decisions - based on first principles vs. t-shirt sizing.
Our toolkit will help you understand how to build a value system vs. simply trying to plug existing frameworks (e.g., RICE) into unfamiliar situations
We'll break into groups and do a live exercise to put pen to paper.
I'll walk you through a mock exercise where you will build and present your framework.
Frameworks are a foundation for a great story. Once you understand how to design a first principles framework, you'll know how to deconstruct complex ideas into simple narratives everyone will understand
