Kasey McCormick Lyding

Kasey McCormick Lyding

Kasey launched ManagerStreet with a mission to empower First Time Managers

Kasey loves leading teams and building positive inclusive cultures within them. Her professional background is in the advertising & media technology space where she spent the majority of her time on implementation teams - teams whose missions blend training, consulting, project management, and change management.

Kasey got to see behind the scenes of major media companies and observe a variety of leadership styles which then influenced her own. And just like everyone else, Kasey has had managers who have inspired what to do, others who have inspired what not to do, and everything in between.

Her own transition from individual contributor to people manager opened her eyes to the need for accessible and personalized resources to navigate that transition. She started ManagerStreet as a program that people could seek for themselves or that companies could provide as part of a learning and development initiative.

Kasey believes people can bring their best to work when things like diversity & inclusion, work/life balance, and upskilling are more than just buzzwords. With an emphasis on experiential learning, ManagerStreet focuses on concrete managerial skills that can start being used tomorrow. The mission of ManagerStreet is to empower people on their own leadership path to become confident, capable, happy managers who inspire their teams and contribute in meaningful ways to their organizations.
