This experience is part class and part group coaching. Over three weeks, you'll intentionally reflect on your job triumphs & failures, identify meaningful career themes, and speak truth to your true passions. You'll learn key storytelling skills and practice telling engaging and impactful stories that inspire action.
Join this small and supportive group for a journey of personal and professional growth. You'll boost your confidence and embark on an empowering path forward.
⭐️ BONUS OFFER: Everyone who enrolls will get a free 60-minute private story coaching or tarot reading session ($250 value) ⭐️
01
You're at a career turning point, but struggle to connect your previous work experiences to what you want to do next
02
You're seeking a new job or promotion but need help identifying and shaping stories that illustrate your skills and talents.
03
You want to reflect on your winding career journey but have a hard time motivating yourself to do it on your own.
Explore key moments from your career using thought-provoking prompts and fun storytelling frameworks. Develop a list of career moments that you can turn into engaging and empowering stories.
Apply storytelling frameworks to make your stories clear, compelling, and concise. Develop the emotional undercurrent of your stories to unlock important life lessons.
Every story has an audience, even if that audience is you. By understanding your audience on a human level, you can tweak your story to hook them and make a clear ask that will lead to action.
We spend so much of our life at work, but we have very few spaces to share our work stories. We'll create a safe and supportive environment to share your stories, get feedback, practice active listening, and learn how to ask better follow-up questions.
You are the author of your own story, so you get to decide where it goes next. Use storytelling prompts and techniques to imagine the career you want to build and map the journey you’ll take to get there.

You have a story that can change the world.
Don't believe me? With over 15+ years producing human-centered content for companies (Airbnb), campaigns (Obama 2012), causes (Idealist.org), and cable (Bravo, NatGeo, Discovery), I've helped hundreds of regular people (and some celebrities) identify their most powerful stories and use them to motivate others to take action.
Then in May 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, I got laid off. It was devastating. I turned to storytelling to help me cope.
I said, "this is a story about the time I lost my job, but it's going to be the story about how I found myself." I reflected on what I found most meaningful across all my various jobs and projects, and used that to shape what I wanted to do next. Turns out storytelling plays a big part in that, too.
Now, I lead engaging workshops and tailor bespoke consulting based in the art and science of storytelling. I've developed storytelling tools and frameworks that make it easy for you to get creative and connect your stories to your goals.
I built this course to bring you on a journey of self-reflection and personal growth using storytelling as our guide. Because you have a story that can change your world. It's just waiting for you to find it.

Episode 1: What's Your Story?
Monday, February 20 • 4:00-6:00 PM PT

02
Episode 2: But It's Really About...
Thursday, February 23 • 4:00-6:00 PM PT
Stories are more than a list of things that happened. They include an emotional undercurrent, a story structure that keeps us engaged, and detail that helps us feel like we are part of the action. In this session, we will apply simple yet powerful frameworks to shape stories that connect.
03
Episode 3: Storytelling in Conversation
Monday, February 27 • 4:00-6:00 PM PT
Details bring our stories to life. But add too much detail, and you lose your listener. In this session, we'll practice how to make sure your story engages but also gets to the point. We'll also learn tools to ask better questions and be better listeners.
04
Episode 4: Know Your Audience
Thursday, March 2 • 4:00-6:00 PM PT
Stories always have an audience, even if that audience is yourself. In this session, we'll get to know our audiences on a human level and practice tweaking our stories to motivate them to take our desired actions.
05
Episode 5: Storytime! (Part 1) + Our Future Story
Monday, March 6 • 4:00-6:00 PM PT
Everyone will have a chance to share their story with the class and get feedback. (We split this up over 2 sessions.) We will also spend time reflecting on the type of story we want to tell about our future careers.
06
Episode 6: Storytime! (Part 2) + Moving Forward
Thursday, March 9 • 4:00-6:00 PM PT
More great stories from the class! Plus, we will create some actionable steps on how to make our future stories a reality.
2/20-3/9 | 4:00pm - 6:00pm PT
Our two-hour sessions will be a mix of group activities & games, small group breakouts and story practice, and time for individual reflection and journaling.
2 hours per week
This course comes with a number of guided journaling prompts to help you go deeper. There will also be a number of video lessons that build on concepts we cover in class.
Wednesday 2/22 + 3/1 | 4:00-5:00 pm PT
We're all really busy. Finding time to do the guided journaling prompts can be hard. So let's do them together! We'll kick off with a brief intro, have quiet working time, and come back for a nice reflection on the exercise.
⭐️ Everyone who enrolls will get a free 60-minute private story coaching or tarot reading session ($250 value) ⭐️
Know yourself better
Using the guided journal prompts and activities, you will become really proud of how far you've come, and get clear on where you want to go next.
We're in this together
You never know who needs to hear your story. We'll have lots of group breakouts and chances to share your story with the class. This fosters a deep sense of connection with your fellow classmates. You might even make a new friend or networking buddy!
Not your typical career-focused class
This class will NOT teach you how to write the best resume, optimize your Linkedin, or ace every interview. Think of it as the first step in that direction. This class WILL help you understand your bigger-picture career story, and how to tailor your stories for different audiences and scenarios.
