Launching a social enterprise in 2015 was life-changing. This kickstarted Jonas’ startup journey, his desire to create an impact and take full ownership. His desire to grow, create, and contribute more caused him to turn down a CEO offer at age 27 and instead move to China to join a startup in whose purpose he believed. He led AngelHack’s APAC division and facilitated 180+ hackathons and pitch events. As head of recruiting for the gaming scale-up Yodo1, he was part of the task force that planned and executed the transition into WFA (work from anywhere).

Jonas is a proud Forbes 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.

He had his first remote work experience in 2009 working with teams in the US and Germany. Since 2018 he has been working remotely from his home in Beijing, in coworking spaces of beautiful Ubud - Bali, beaches in Thailand, and in countless hotels.
