Explore is GA4's deep-dive analysis tool and offers a ton of potential for custom reporting. You can build things like open and closed funnels, create a path to track your customer journey through your site or app, and deep-dive on cohort reporting

Customize GA4 to your heart's desire

For the first time EVER, you can create and edit reports that live in the main reporting interface of GA4. Not only that, you can completely customize the left hand nav for easy organization and access. You'll get tons of ideas and plenty of practice to customize your GA4 setup

Take advantage of advanced features and settings

GA4 has some really cool new built-in features to help you create or modify event data within the UI, reducing the need for developer time and website code. You'll also learn about important settings for data retention, attribution, reporting identity, and much more

Currently, Krista is the Principal Digital Analytics Consultant & Chief Instructor with KS Digital, an analytics consultancy she founded in 2019, helping businesses make the most of their investments in digital marketing and analytics. Previously, Krista was VP, Product Marketing & Growth at Quantcast.

01

101: Getting started with GA4 Reporting

In this module we'll start with a comparison of Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4, and then we'll dive into the Reporting UI. You'll walk away feeling comfortable pulling standard reports and knowing where everything is in GA4.

201: Going deep with Explore

We'll dive deep into the Explore section in GA4. We'll cover all of the templated techniques, talk about use cases for Explore vs Reporting, and heavily rely on demos and practice exercises so you walk away feeling confident in your ability to use GA4 Explorations.

301: Report Customizations

GA4 allows you to completely customize the UI and the reports available. We'll deep-dive here with the goal of each student finishing the module with a customized navigation and new custom reports.

401: Advanced Features and Admin Settings

There are a lot of new, advanced features that have been added to the UI of GA4. We'll explore these new features, such as event creation and modification, and set up custom data such as custom dimensions and metrics.

    We'll cover one course module during each session followed by live Q&A.

    Note: Based on feedback from previous cohorts, we've extended these modules from 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs each!

    Open Q&A - bring your questions and we'll work through them in our final session of the cohort.
