Our approach emphasizes emotionally healthy spirituality, using social science research to augment principles. We will co-develop step-by-step processes to reduce fear, increase confidence, and ultimately--achieve your goals.

What you’ll get out of this course

Define your key skills & job search focus area

When it comes to the job search, being a "jack of all trades" isn't always the most effective. We will identify what makes us uniquely qualified, and define a specific focus area for an effective job search.

Refine your "elevator pitch" to make employers want you

Communicating our experiences in a relevant way to potential employers is no easy feat. With knowledge of the current labor market, we will learn how to frame our unique experiences in a way that meets market demands.

Draft a resume/CV that best reflects your past experiences

Ever look at a resume and wonder if it represents you? Resumes & Curriculum Vitaes (CV) take multiple iterations. We will cover how to write killer resumes, and discuss the necessity of cover letters.

Gather core interviewing skills to feel confident

Interviewing is like going on a date. We should be authentic yet mindful of the other side. Using the latest in academic research, we will discuss driving forces in the hiring process such as communication styles, storytelling, and charisma.

Identify values that ultimately drive your decision-making

Success looks different for everyone. When you receive your dream offer(s), you will need to thoughtfully consider which best aligns with your values. We will spend time reflecting on what matters most, and negotiation strategies to get what you need.
