The purpose of this program is to share everything we’ve learned with you—costly mistakes and practical knowledge.

Program curriculum

01

Create a research plan & recruit participants

You'll identify what it takes to develop a solid research plan, write effective user interview questions, and recruit participants.

02

Conduct user interviews

You'll gain deep insights into your problem by conducting user interviews. This is a critical skill in UX; to listen and empathize with users.

03

Affinitize the research data

You'll group chunks of your research data into meaningful insights by creating an affinity map. You'll have confidence in the problem you're solving, and it will reveal your design direction.

Master information architecture and create a story map

You'll discover what it takes to create an understandable and intuitive information architecture. Then, you'll break down user goals into a story map, giving you clarity on what to design.

Create your sketches, wireframes, & user flows

You'll alchemize your research findings into low-fidelity solutions that solve the user and business problems. You'll create sketches, wireframes, and user flows. This is the bread and butter of UX. Well, at least it's the bread.

06

Craft a usability test plan & recruit participants

How do you know that your design solves the user problem AND that it's usable? By testing it with users! You'll build a usability test plan to make the most out of your testing sessions.

Build your prototype

You'll craft an interactive prototype you'll later test with users to ensure your solution is usable, relevant, and meaningful.

Run usability tests & analyze the data

You'll validate how well your solution meets the mark by conducting testing sessions with real people. Then, you'll synthesize the research findings and determine next steps.

Program schedule

4-6 hours per week

  • Monday - Live group class

    5:00pm - 6:30pm EST

    We all meet to master UX by practicing together. You’ll learn and work live on your UX case study.

  • Thursday - Live group class

    5:00pm-6:30pm EST

    As your mentors, we’ll address any issues so you can move forward with confidence.
