In 2023, John became a trusted advisor to educators on generative Al thanks to reporting on his own use of Al in graduate-level courses and his service as a guide on responsible and ethical use of generative in educational institutions. John combines practical experience with academic insight into the intersection of education and technology. With expertise grounded in work as a faculty member at the University of Kentucky and lowa State University, John pioneered courses focusing on applying design thinking in education, promoting a holistic, problem-solving mindset in future educators.
