Course overview
But:
You don’t have a mentor with over a decade of FP&A experience.
You don’t have time to watch hours of so-so educational videos.
And you can’t Google it because you don’t know what you don’t know.
That's why I built FP&A Bootcamp.
01
Finance professionals who want to develop their FP&A skills.
02
Accountants who recently took on forecasting and planning responsibilities.
03
Anyone who needs to tell the financial story of a business

Four 2-hour-long live workshops where you learn with a group of peers via small group discussions, case studies, and role plays.
No required homework
That way the time commitment is manageable for busy professionals.
You have to miss a session?
All sessions are recorded, so you can watch them at your own time if you can't attend live.
I want to make sure that every FP&A challenge you face gets addressed.
So I added group coaching sessions to the curriculum.
It’s two sessions, each a full hour long, where I answer your questions and we can go deeper into the topics we discuss during the workshops.
“The Art & Science of Forecasting” is a self-paced course featuring 45 video lessons amounting to 3 hours of insights.
It's designed to be flexible - go at your own pace, skip what you're already a pro at, and revisit lessons for deeper understanding.
This course is sold separately, but I have decided to include it as a free bonus for FP&A Bootcamp students.
You can learn more about the curriculum at ForecastingMastery.com
We cover a lot during the four workshops, so I want to make the material as easily accessible for you as possible.
I included 19 summaries, cheat sheets, checklists, and templates. In addition, you'll get the recordings and slides with my notes.
That way, you can easily refer back to the materials later on when you need them.
Business partnering is such a rich and important topic that I wasn’t able to fit all my insights into a two-hour workshop.
So I decided to record an additional class about how to master the four pillars of becoming a strategic advisor to the business.
You only get to the recording as a FP&A Bootcamp student.
A common issue is that the month-end close process and associated slide decks take so long to prepare that little time is left to do deep analysis and business partnering.
So I created a class that covers my strategies to speed up your reporting process.
It’s 18 tips covering challenges, such as:
I recognize that you will be able to apply some learnings right away, while you will run into other challenges at a later point in time.
So, I decided to give you lifetime access to all the FP&A Bootcamp resources and bonuses.
This includes full recordings of the workshops and the slides with my notes.
If you attend the sessions, actively participate, and still don’t find the course valuable, we’ll happily refund your full payment until 7 days after the end of the course.
The next cohort starts on September 19th 2023.

01
Financial Storytelling
Effective reporting can achieve more than simply sharing the latest business results.
You can provide early detection of potential issues before they become problems. You can influence strategy setting, by highlighting the metrics that matter. And you can use reporting as a tool to create more accountability in areas that lack critical visibility.
02
Presenting Financials
How you present financial information matters. If you don’t just want to inform, but also influence senior decision-makers, then you need to learn how to tell stories with numbers. You need to do so in a way that is clear, concrete, credible, and memorable.
03
Business Partnering
You add value by being a sparring partner for your business partners on strategy and execution, by creating visibility of results, and by raising accountability. You need to do all that without having formal authority. As a result, you need to learn how to build professional relationships and trust.
04
Budget Management
FP&A can be seen as a neutral third party whose mission is to ensure company funds are spent wisely. It's your role to help find the right balance to achieve sustainable growth at the right level of profitability. You will learn how to challenge your business partners on the budget while building the relationship at the same time.
05
Financial Modelling
The magic of a well-crafted financial model is that it results in one number declaring the potential of a complex project. You will become intimately familiar with the most commonly used models, understand their advantages and shortcomings, and gain confidence in knowing when to apply them.
06
Planning & Forecasting
Annual planning can get hectic. It’s also a time to take a step back and think about the business strategically. Having the right approach to planning is critical. You will learn to lead the planning process end to end. You’ll master top-down and bottom-up forecasting to improve accuracy and enable organizational learning in-year.
Use your firm's Learning & Development Budget
Since FP&A Bootcamp teaches job-relevant skills, many of our past students received tuition reimbursement from their employer.
