Cohort-based Course

Everything graduate school should be but isn't.

Course overview

Breakouts is the world's first lifestyle accelerator.

We give you the assets, frameworks, and connections you need to live your dream life.

Breakouts is for

01

Professionals who want to master their circle of competence.

02

Side-hustlers who want a proven path to go full-time on their venture.

03

Entrepreneurs who want to get paid for their value, not their time.

The frameworks you'll master

#1: Systems Thinking

You’ll see the world through the systems that govern your time, energy, and focus. We'll identify the parts that work, the aspects that don’t and then architect a new system that actually works for (not against) you.

#2: Circle of Competence

We can see who we truly are by identifying where our assets, aspirations, and market realities overlap. Come to know yourself, the games only you can play, and the value you are uniquely built to provide.

#3: Odyssey Planning

It’s easy to believe you only have one life ahead. In reality, you have multiple futures. We'll help you sketch out 3 achievable futures you can live over the next 5 years. Then pick your favourite.

#4: The Perfect Cold Email

Getting in front of anyone you want is an art form. We’ll show you how to write cold emails and land the meetings that matter. A whole new world will be at your fingertips.

#5: Curiosity Conversations

Our quality of life is based on our quality of conversation. We'll break down how to consistently have talks that net you the information and opportunities you want.

#6: I Am Portfolio

Real upside comes from assets that work for you around the clock. Your I Am Portfolio scales your brand and story in a unique way that begets serious opportunity.

We have 100+ alumni globally. Here's what they're saying.

Breakouts was my respite on my toughest days and the highlight of my week on every other. Emotional cross-training. I love it here.

Breakouts should be something everyone is required to take. Wherever you are in your journey, it enables you to take back ownership of your life. For me, it reminded me of why I started this business and made my paint strokes better.
Laura Deems

Laura Deems

Alongside my business partner, I entered Breakouts after being made redundant by a multi-million dollar global sports brand. We needed a company strategy. In 6 weeks, we experienced immense progress; launching the #1 new soccer podcast in America, signing contracts with New Balance and Live Score, and adding 937 paying subscribers to our Patreon.
Jack Collins

Jack Collins

Co-Founder; Ranks FC. London, UK. Breakouts II Fellow.
Any entrepreneur or owner looking to take it to the next level needs to join Breakouts. I joined to craft the strategic vision of my business and learn how to monetize my craft so I could go full-time. It was my launchpad to build a killer 2-3 year business plan and execute it. In short: everything I knew I needed but didn't know how to get.
Sam Viola

Sam Viola

Founder; Uproute Travel. Full-time Nomad. Breakouts III Fellow.
Breakouts gave me the confidence to finally own the fact that I'm an artist, after 27 years on this earth. I describe the community as the running shoes you didn't know you needed. It's quite unlike any other community or course I've taken before. And what I love the most is that it's just the beginning of my journey with this amazing EE community.
Killian MacDonald

Killian MacDonald

Author; World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Edinburgh, Scotland. Breakouts VII Fellow.
Breakouts was introduced to me by a friend. It's an environment unlike anything I have experienced, I felt an inexplicable draw to what has now become a community I could not see myself without. My understanding of the world has shifted as this group has enveloped all of its members with curiosity, enthusiasm, and unconditional support.

The Breakout Curriculum

01

Know What You Want

It’s an uncomfortable question with a mercurial answer. We may not know yours, but we know humans long to be valued. Value is not what the market asks or pays you to do. Rather, your value is your unique expertise.

In Module I, you'll discover your value, investing in the things only you can do.

02

Know Who You Are

We’ve spent so much of our lives learning about the talents of others that we struggle to articulate our own. We need to listen to ourselves like we're our favourite creators to understand who we are.

In Module II, you'll discover who you can become by articulating your competitive advantage.

03

The Science of Storytelling

The story is the language of humanity. It's how we connect, love and life. But telling compelling stories about own life isn't easy.

In Module III, you'll learn to tell your story, with the plots, twists and punchlines required to capture the imagination of whoever you meet.

04

The Art of Social Capital

The world trades on relationships. They are the currency of your Breakout. Cultivate them wisely.

In Module IV, you’ll learn how to build social capital that can get you in front of anyone.

05

Scale Your (Re)Brand

You’re only one person. To get the most out of life, you need assets that work for you around the clock. 24/7, 365.

In Module V, you’ll create an asset that amplifies the reputation and reach of your brand by leveraging the best of your life story.

06

Design Your Breakout Life

You only get one life. Don’t allow others to design it for you. Forget short-term results, and focus on embracing a long-term lifestyle.

In Module VI, you'll architect the lifestyle that nets you what you really want. All you need is tact, patience, and hustle to bring it to life.

The Nuts & Bolts

Each Fellow gets the opportunity to participate in Demo Day, which takes place 1x per quarter during our quarterly retreats. You get 10-minutes to present in front of our best alumni and select investors.

The Pitch

You don't have to pitch a business. Rather share what your Breakout truly needs to come to life. See below for a stellar pitch example.

The Stage

Think hard about your environment. Physical or digital? Studio or living room? Your surroundings are an advantage. Use them or lose them.

The Ask & Audience

What do you actually want from the audience? Don’t be shy but be sure to frame it as an opportunity for those who are listening to help you.
