Kari Marken, PhD

I love teaching—so much so that I earned a PhD in the study of, you guessed it, teaching. I’m building this course because all leaders should know how group facilitation works to enhance the learning potential in their teams.
I’m a University Lecturer at the Sauder School of Business in Vancouver, Canada, teaching Creativity and Communication courses across Executive Education, undergraduate, and graduate-level programs. In addition, I run a consulting business - edie - and have worked extensively with organizations as an Educational Designer, Consultant, and Teaching & Learning Strategist. Live, interactive, facilitated sessions on Zoom. All sessions are taught by Kari and will include a combination of activities, mini-lectures, discussions, and project-based work.
