Course overview
The Agile Bootcamp focuses on building your understanding of Agile principles and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. You'll learn how to develop, implement, and manage Agile projects and product delivery, as well as how to evaluate the success of that delivery. The Bootcamp also covers topics such as team dynamics and team building, providing you with the knowledge and skills to create effective teams. Additionally, you'll gain an understanding of the Agile mindset and how to apply it to real-world scenarios. With the skills and knowledge gained through the Bootcamp, you'll be well-equipped to take on an Agile-related role.

Apply the skills you learned in the training to create your own software product following the agile practices and tools (like Jira, and Azure DevOps) learned in class.
Track the metrics you'd learn about in the course of delivering your own software product. Accurately interpret these metrics and gain valuable insights from them
All participants will be segmented into teams and everyone will have the opportunity to coach teams through a specific challenge by applying the skills and techniques learned from the course.
As part of the course, you will be registered for the Professional Scrum Master certification exam with scrum.org and be well prepared to pass this exam. All of my previous students have passed their exams.

SDLC in Project and Product
Learn about the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and how it varies within Project Management vs Product Management. At the end of this class, students will be introduced to how to deliver their own software product.

Agile Work Management Tools
Practical class on how to set up and use agile work management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. Students will be encouraged to adopt a preferred tool to be used through the training program for their personal project.

Agile Manifesto & Team Dynamics
The values and principles of the agile manifesto will be explained in light of how this can be leveraged to influence the dynamics of a team.

Design Thinking, Product Vision & Roadmap
Learn about design thinking and how this can guide the process of framing the problem a product is meant to solve and how to prioritize milestone delivery for this product.

Product Backlog Management
Writing user stories, chunking the stories into features and/or epics, and estimating these stories through relative estimation or story points. Also, techniques such as DEEP, INVEST, and story mapping will be explored.

Roles in a Scrum Team
Beyond the scrum core accountabilities of the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Development Team, this lesson will expand on detailed roles and responsibilities within a typic software-focused agile team.

Scrum Events & Other Agile Frameworks
All scrum events and a suggested outline for each event will be explained in this module. Also an understanding of other frameworks such as Kanban. SAFe, LeSS will be explored.

Agile Metrics
All some agile practitioners know about agile metrics is burndown chart and velocity, we seek to change that in our sessions. Through this module, we will explore three categories of metrics - positivity, producitivity, and performance.

Introduction to Team Coaching
This module will be focused on behaviors and techniques that help to practical coach an agile team in one's capacity as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.

Wrap-Up
This wrap-up session will provide feedback on the product delivered by each participant. Also, CV writing guides will be provided, and guidance on how to interview for these roles.
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm GMT
Each live session will hold for two hours per day, however, there are videos and reading materials that also need to be watched before each class.
5 hours per week
The practical project and assignments that need to be worked on during this course will take about 5 hours per week. This could be done 1 hour each day or some weekend time could be used for this as well.
