01

B Corp principles and orientation

The B Corp process can be overwhelming and complex. This session will ease that feeling of confusion by providing a straightforward process to follow, a tour of the B Corp assessment tool, and an explanation of timelines and requirements.

The Five Impact Areas

Across five weeks, we will examine each B Corp Impact area: Governance, Employees, Environment, Community and Customer.


Following our tried and tested methodology, each session will answer your questions, troubleshoot your issues, and provide tailored guidance and signpost templates and tools for you to adapt and use.

Evidence, verification and next steps

The B Corp assessment process is challenging. In this session, you will learn about the process and requirements, clearly understand the evidence you need and how to track and monitor data collection.

One-to-one action planning

Each business on this journey is unique. As part of the course, Danielle will hold a 121 session with you where she will review the assessment you have completed during the programme.


She will use her expertise to provide guidance and advice tailored to your business and current position.

Bespoke action plan

Following the one-to-one session, Danielle will create your own 'to-do' list.

With a prioritised list of actions and initiatives, you can complete the programme knowing exactly what you need to do, how you will do it and where you need to focus.

  • B Corporation Introduction and orientation

    Tuesday 25th Oct 11am - 12pm BST

    Meet your fellow classmates and your Instructor. Learn about the B Corp principles and ethos and well as dive into the Business Impact Assessment (BIA)

  • Governance

    Tuesday 1st Nov. 11am-12pm GMT

    One hour of Q&A, troubleshooting and structured group discussion focused on the Governance section and understanding your approach to responsible governance, ethics and stakeholder-led decision making.

  • Environment

    Tuesday 8th Nov. 11am-12pm GMT

    One hour of Q&A, troubleshooting and structured group discussion focused on the Environment section. Exploring environmental business impact models and how your business delivers and measures environmental performance.

  • Workers (Employees)

    Tuesday 15th Nov. 11am-12pm GMT

    One hour of Q&A, troubleshooting and structured group discussion focused on the Workers section. Exploring people-focused business impact models and how your business engages, develops, and rewards employees.

  • Community

    Tuesday 22nd Nov. 11am-12pm GMT

    One hour of Q&A, troubleshooting and structured group discussion focused on the Community section. Exploring community business impact models and how your business contributes to your local economy and broader society.

  • Customer

    Tuesday 29th Nov. 11am-12pm GMT

    One hour of Q&A, troubleshooting and structured group discussion focused on the Customer section. Exploring customer business impact models and how your business positively impacts your customers.

  • Evidence, submission, evaluation and verification

    Tuesday 6th Dec. 11am-12pm GMT

    Finish the programme with all the information you need about the next steps in the process and how you prepare for submission, evaluation and verification
