Lessons learned from 7 years at Amazon and mentoring 20+ data scientists
I used to feel lost in my early career, and after 7 years, I've coached many people getting to the next level of their career, and I'll share those advice with you on how to build more influence at work, take on bigger project, manage stakeholders, and get the recognition you deserve.
I'll teach four sessions during two Saturdays (April 22, April 29) from 8:30am to 4pm PT with live workshops and personalized Q&As. You will also be part of an exclusive Slack group to stay in touch with each other, and I'll host a monthly office hour after the course ends for 3 months.

Meet your instructor
Daliana Liu
I'm an ex-Amazon Senior Data Scientist with 7 years of experience in data science & ML. I have 200K followers on Linkedin talking about data science and career. I host a top 200 US tech podcast "the data scientist show".
I have a Master degree from UC-Irvine in Statistics. I have worked on various domain in data science&ML: I built the first time series forecasting model for advertising at Boingo Wireless; analyzed and helped launch over 100 A/B tests at Amazon.com and have a US patent on experimentation with my colleagues. I built ML models for AWS customers from various industries to accelerate their business and products.
When I started my career, I felt lost and struggled to meet expectations and had fears that I wasn't good enough. I had to figure out how to navigate my own career and learned how to find allies and sponsors for my career, and eventually got promoted twice in Amazon and became a senior DS leading high-impact projects and coached 20+ people to help them grow their career and find their paths.
Now, I'm passionate about sharing what has helped me and my mentees with other data scientists who are early in their career and not sure what they are doing. After this 2-day course, you'll learn how to communicate with stakeholders, how to iterate projects and have impact on your team, and how to build influence and get promoted.
