By 2030 it's expect that this could double and over 8% of all carbon emissions could come from technology & Cloud Computing!

Join us on a 3-week inspirational journey with over 6 industry experts as we teach you how to use the cloud more sustainably and efficiently.

The world needs people like you to stand up and start using the cloud more sustainably. Join this course if you are...

Host of "Public Cloud for Public Good" Podcast, Cloud Sustainability Advocate & Founder of 'Cloud Sustainably'

In 2021 I left my last full time role as the 'Head of Cloud' at the UK Home Office, at the time we were the largest European public sector consumers of cloud computing.

As an experienced product manager, I led the creation of our Cloud Centre of Excellence, organised training for 100's of staff and before I left saved the department over £10m on their cloud costs.

Even though it was an amazing role I felt like something was missing and left to start my own business.

I very quickly realised that what was missing was "doing something good for the world".

I felt that I was working on amazing things, but I couldn't see any link between my day-to-day work and how that was making the world a better place.

So, I set up a consultancy focused on reducing carbon emissions in the cloud and launched a podcast, Public Cloud for Public Good (PC4PG) | Podcast on Spotify.

I'm on a mission to get more developers talking about Sustainability and 'GreenOps' because I believe that the only way to save the world and reduce the carbon impact of tech is by coming together as a tech community to push for more sustainable practices.

And unless politicians catch up with regulations and policy changes it may be the only way we can mitigate the biggest impacts of climate change.
