This course will offer you the environment and the ecosystem to put theory into practice.
You'll create a new identity for yourself in 4 weeks by repeatedly developing framework-based responses in sticky situations. November cohort spans 5 weeks since there are no classes during the week of 20th November due to Thanksgiving holidays.
If you're looking to build your influence and visibility through assertive, creative, and collaborative conversations, this course is for you.
Your peers from Ellucian, Fidelity, Nvidia, Oracle, Ridecell, Salesforce, and SAP have attended previous cohorts dialing in from Armenia, India, Mexico, and the United States.

The demon that you can swallow gives you its power.
When I started my career as a junior engineer in 2002, two demons haunted me - insecurity and inability to communicate well.
I joined a Toastmasters club in 2003 to improve my speaking skills. By 2005, I swallowed the two demons and experienced the power of self-expression, influence, and authentic communication.
Since 2008, I've operated in organizational leadership roles in engineering at Oracle India and Oracle America. I was an internal coach and facilitator at Oracle.
In 2021, I joined Meta as an organization leader to experience working in a high-performance product environment.
Since February 2023, as the Founder and Coach of Changesmith Coaching - I'm excited to help tech professionals land behavioral changes in life and leadership.

Talking effectively
We'll start off with the frameworks for articulating your ideas with structures and conciseness to make an impact. You'll learn the DOC framework for skill development and set up triggers for intentional behavioral change.

Asking insightful questions
You'll discover the power of questions for gathering perspectives and making other people think about their ideas and approaches. This module will introduce you to concepts like frames, reframing, and assertive inquiry. You'll get a lot of opportunities to practice the tone of inquiry and curiosity.

Listening deeply
This module will help you listen mindfully in conversations to go beyond words. You'll start listening to facts, fantasy, and feelings during this week. You'll practice the art of creating agreements and step away from frustrations stemming from unmet expectations.

Leadership growth loop
By the end of this week, you'll identify your key stakeholders and set up a "feedforward" loop for leadership growth and change measurement.
The framework will help you adjust your behaviors and change the perception of "You" in your stakeholders' eyes.

90-minute live session. 45-minute introduction to ideas; followed by 45 minutes focused on Q&A and Practice in break-out rooms.

60-minute practice session and Q&A. These are optional sessions to help you practice the frameworks and get a few reps to build your muscle of mindful communication. You can play roles and respond to real-life scenarios in these sessions.

2 X 30 min sessions in 4 weeks
This is a personalized coaching session to address individual challenges and situations. Each cohort member gets two 30-minute 1:1 discussions with me during the course duration.
