Transition into UX for Healthcare

Break into the field of healthcare UX by building your own AI healthcare app! 


Students will gain foundational skills and knowledge to specialize in healthcare UX. This course focuses on the&nbsp;specific challenges and requirements of designing for healthcare, including regulations, accessibility, and patient-centered design. Through hands-on learning, students will gain practical experience in research, design, and problem-solving, preparing them to contribute effectively in this field. A key part of the course is&nbsp;building a functional AI-powered healthcare app, using a no-code tool. This project will help students&nbsp;apply their learning in a real-world context&nbsp;and create a strong portfolio piece. By the end of the course, students will have a&nbsp;clear understanding of healthcare UX, a portfolio showcasing their work, and a&nbsp;structured approach to navigating career opportunities in the field. This is a three-week course designed to introduce new folks to the healthcare UX field equipped with a basic toolkit and working healthcare app, and for more experienced folks to get coaching in closing those high-level job interviews. A foundational understanding of UX is helpful as this class will focus on the aspects of UX specific to healthcare, but folks from all backgrounds have created amazing apps. Note: As this is a short-form course it includes just what you need to hit the ground running - however, it is not a substitute for an accredited degree program and does not guarantee job placement.
