Growth Advisor, 3x Entrepreneur, & Ex-Head of Growth at Dolby Laboratories
I’ve grown and sold multiple businesses throughout my career, encountering both success and difficult lessons (“accidents with intention”). Entrepreneurship has instilled in me an appreciation for integrity, a strong network, and the ability to problem-solve and quickly recover from mistakes.
As a growth executive, I advise organizations through big changes, from early-stage startups to corporations like Nordstrom and Microsoft. Growth hacking is more than performance marketing: I don’t fix symptoms; I fix processes, using data to guide decisions. I scan the environment for inefficiencies, translate between departments, and focus on the right shared goals to get everyone in the company moving in the same direction.
With degrees in neuroscience, theater, business, and law, my diverse academic background is my strategic advantage. I’ve worked for both legacy companies (Dolby, Oracle, Morgan Stanley, Nordstrom) and startups that have grown into big names (Zenni Optical). I’m industry-agnostic, with the range and experience to grow large and small companies from e-commerce to healthcare to SaaS/high tech and retail.
01
Laying a New Foundation
You'll learn why effective growth hacking forces you to rethink your entire business. You'll also learn how it can transform your company, no matter its size, industry, and business model. Then, you'll identify key parts of your business that contribute most to growth and could unlock potential paying customers.
02
Growth Hacking in Reality
You'll reflect on your current business. You'll be asked questions that identify roadblocks stopping your business's growth. Then, you'll brainstorm solutions to overcome them. You'll also learn how A/B testing and other forms of experimentation help you solve problems before they begin.
03
Identify Your Building Blocks
You'll break down your business into parts. You'll identify which parts of the business are winning or failing. Then, you'll use growth frameworks that improve your most successful parts and rebuild your most stressful ones even during unpredictable times.
04
The Power of Data
Data is your business's map and compass. It doesn’t have to be a foreign language. And you don’t have to be a data expert. You'll easily learn how to use it to make micro-decisions that lead to big results. You'll learn how to read and report data to measure growth and make better decisions. You'll also learn how to hire and manage growth hackers.
