01

Foundations

What exactly is a Technical Program Manager and what do they do? TPMs are synonymous with BigTech yet the precise definition of a TPM varies company to company. We will start by establishing a baseline of a TPM based on my experiences working at Apple, Google, Nike and now Humane.

02

Leading Complex Programs

Before you can lead complex programs, you must understand the shape and nature of complexity. Then, you need the right toolkit to dive into any complex programs and lead it like a Great TPM.

Here we dive into both - the shape of complexity and toolkit to overcome it.

03

Leading Without Authority

TPM and PMs are leader that have no formal authority. We can't make people do anything. What we can do is influence outcomes and trajectories.

How? Lets dive into where power comes from and its not just your job title.

04

TPM Superpowers

Years of observing how the great TPMs at places like Apple, Google, Nike, and Humane make great programs successful, I will share what the secret sauce or tools they use to be GREAT.

Big component - systems thinking and mindset.

05

Case Study

You have learned the theory, now let's apply it. Together, we will work through case studies based on real world examples on how I tackled these programs and real world insights for how programs actually go down.
