The course is a mix of lectures and structured exercises/cases based on real scenarios. We'll then constantly tie our team measurements and analyses back to strategic outcomes and workshop for your specific situations. 


I recommend thinking of measurement across the three themes of 'what' (strategic impact), 'how' (execution and operational excellence), and 'who' (team dynamics). Another way of phrasing this is the 3 P’s —product, process, and people. Let’s take a closer look at how these are covered across the classes.


Class 1: WHY measure team effectiveness and overview of productivity impact you will be able to drive.

Class 2: Different Measurements to scale the WHAT i.e. WHAT strategic value is the team delivering.

Class 3: Tactics for HOW to excel i.e. HOW is the team executing and delivering against the plans.

Class 4: Ways to empower the culture for people WHO are the contributors.



In addition to thinking about these three themes of what, how, and who, I also believe it’s important to combine measurement (typical metrics that shouldn’t be too surprising to any leader) with follow-through techniques. These follow-throughs are important to ensure you loop back and discover what’s working and what’s not



The classes themselves are 60 minutes . We will cover those across 2 hr sessions over 2 weeks, with an additional weekly Q&A session (optional) and take-home assignment.



Each class covers modeling measurements, its analysis and follow-through techniques to drive change. Our focus is not just on measurements but rather (a) how to evolve KPIs and tools to use for measurements ( b) how to make it repeatable for continuous improvements to achieve goals ( c) how it might be best presented to a senior audience.
