In this project-driven workshop, you'll apply what you learn to real-world scenarios in your work and get feedback from your peers and instructors.
This interactive course will give students the opportunity to connect and collaborate on their work.

Meet other students, get an introduction to behavioral design, and preview the course.

Begin the behavioral design process by establishing the behaviors you want to change, understanding their "triggers," and applying a mapping process to understand what's preventing action.

A deep dive into consumer psychology and how our minds works, including the subconscious motivations that drive our actions.

Learn the science of behavioral change and develop data-driven solutions to drive action.

Learn and apply the process for scientifically testing your solutions to learn what works in driving real change and gather valuable data to inform your strategy.
The first lesson will be held on Monday, May 16. Lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays through Wednesday, May 25.
The course consists of four live Zoom lessons that will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm EST.
This is a project-driven course where students will be applying the material to a project of their choosing during the lessons.
We will provide exercises to apply outside of class, but any work outside of the live sessions is optional and self-directed.
Instructors will host office hours outside of the lessons throughout the course to provide additional time to answer student questions and give input on their projects. Attendance is voluntary.
Nir Eyal writes, consults, and teaches about the intersection of psychology, technology, and business.
He has co-founded and sold two tech companies since 2003 and is the author of two bestselling books, Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products and Indistractable: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life.
Nir previously taught as a Lecturer in Marketing at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford.
Erik Johnson is the founder of Behavioral Strategies, a boutique consulting firm helping technology businesses leverage behavioral science for growth and performance.
Previously, Erik held roles at behavioral economics consultancy ideas42 and financial research and technology company Morningstar’s Behavioral Insights Team.
He is a co-host for the Action Design Radio podcast and has been published in been published in the Harvard Business Review, Behavioral Scientist, Observer, Morningstar Magazine, and ConversionXL.
