Meet your instructors

Ahmed Siddiqui

Ahmed Siddiqui

I lead product and payments for Branch which is a venture backed, high growth, payments startup. But in its early years, it wasn't into payments, and to get the team up to speed, I wrote a book called "The Anatomy of the Swipe".

I published the book back in 2020, and came to realize that some amazing payments and fintech companies such as Stripe, Square, Marqeta, Galileo, Lithic, Treasury Prime, Canopy, and Finix, also started using it to help their new employees onboard.

Prior to this, I was VP, Product at Modern Card Issuer, and Fintech Unicorn, Marqeta (MQ). This is where I learned all about payments by stumbling my way through it.

I have a lot of battle scars through these experiences, and I hope that I can get you up to speed on everything I've learned in 1 week. Hope you will join me on this payments journey!

I lead Digital Wallets and Tokenization for Marqeta (MQ), a leading Card Issuer/Processor. Previously I was a technical product manager at PayPal, working on the core processing platform, and also consult for fintech startups generally working on banking as a service or issuing platforms.

I love learning, but am particularly interested in the payments space along with all that crosses into it. I am assisting Ahmed in teaching the course and can't wait to meet all of you who join!
