MY APPROACH TO TEACHING

🚀 Frameworks: We will learn practical frameworks you can apply to create a structured approach to your executive presentations. These include spotting executive personas, stakeholder mapping, tactics for pre-wiring, effectively driving change and transformation, exerting influence, key types of executive meetings, and presenting the Point B.


📑 Templates and scripts: You will have access to templates, scripts, and worksheets you can tailor to your specific situations, helping you jumpstart your next big presentation.


🌍 Real-world examples: We will review example cases of real-world meetings. These will include both meetings that went well and those that didn’t.


📝Workshop exercises: Apply the frameworks, templates, and scripts to your workplace situation through short live exercises.


🎯 Direct feedback: There's no better way to improve than by practicing with peers and receiving personalized feedback. Get "grilled" in a safe, low stakes environment.


🎤 Guest speakers: We will supplement the course with two interactive guest speaker sessions.

We will peel back the layers of how execs think differently and learn to identify the different personas. This enables students to take a structured approach to presenting and influencing execs successfully. We will do this through frameworks, real life examples and exercises.

Learn to spot the key exec influencers and have clear strategies and tactics to influence them. We will learn the stakeholder mapping toolkit, review examples from top tech companies, and apply this knowledge to your workplace situation through a short exercise.

Master the nuances of executive communication by exploring the meeting types framework, examples of effective and ineffective exec meetings. Also, the former Google Workspace GM and an Exec recruiter will join us to share the elements of successful exec presentations.
