Applied Behavioral Scientist

As an applied behavioral scientist, I am passionate about using behavioural insights to solve real-world problems, both in the public and private sector. In my current role at Simply Rational, I am responsible for leading the design and implementation of behavior change initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform decision making and measure success. In my work I use qualitative and quantitative methods, including participatory approaches and system thinking tools.

Course syllabus

01

Introduction and Ice Breaker

One week prior to the training on Thursday June 29th, we will have a meet & greet session so you can get to know myself and Maria and the rest of the cohort.


We will provide you with all the details about the training and go over any additional questions that you might have.

Day 1:

1. Introduction to Systems Thinking

2. Exploring the Components of Behavioural Systems Maps

3. Creating Actor Maps

4. Exploring and Choosing Target Behaviours

03

Day 2:

1. Understanding and Identifying Drivers of Behaviour

2. Creating a Behavioural Systems Map


Let’s bring it all together! In this exciting final step, you'll put all your learning into practice by creating a Behavioural Systems Map.

Course schedule

3 hours of live training per week
  • Meet & Greet: Thursday June 29th 2023 (optional)

    5.00 pm - 5.30 pm CET

    We will have an optional 30 min meet & greet session so you can get to know us and the rest of the cohort.


    We will provide you with all the details about the training and go over any additional questions.

  • Session 1: Friday July 7th 2023

    2:00pm - 5:00pm CET

  • Session 2: Friday 14th July 2023

    2:00pm - 5:00pm CET
