Course overview
Are you hitting a professional plateau and feel unsure of your next career move? Ready for a change but don't know where to start?
Perhaps you've recently been laid off and are still grappling with the shock and pain.
Being at a career crossroad can be daunting, with emotional highs and lows. You may feel overwhelmed, alone, or scared of losing your financial security. Fear of not being good enough holds you back.
Like you, I understand what it feels to be stuck, lost and uncertain. I was laid off a year after graduating from Stanford business school during a recession. It was sobering. I realized I didn't have the strategies and tools to manage my career effectively. I didn't know what direction I wanted to go and neither did many of my classmates. I turned to career coaching, read dozens of books on the subject, and even pursued a Masters in Career Management at the University of London. These skills helped me become career agile: I navigated seven career transitions across three countries and built a fulfilling career. To my dismay, I realized these essential skills are not taught in school. So over the past 20 years, I made it my mission to help smart and talented people build meaningful careers. I worked at the career management centers for three top business schools across the world (Stanford, Cambridge and IESE).
In this course, you will learn the strategies and tools I've used to coach over 2,000 professionals globally. I will teach you the same roadmap I use with my clients for the past two decades to navigate professional transitions so that you don't need to spin your wheels. By learning 7 key strategies, you will craft your next career move with confidence and clarity.
In today's uncertain times, it's more important than ever to take charge of your future and be career agile. Register for the course, design a meaningful career move, and shape your future,
Imagine waking up in the morning excited about your new career trajectory, and the limitless possibilities.

Through the countless career coaching conversations I've had with smart and driven people, one thing is clear: finding meaningful work rarely happened by chance.
When I was laid off a year after graduating from Stanford business school, I realized I didn't have the strategies and tools to manage my career effectively. I didn't know what direction I wanted to go and neither did many of my classmates. I turned to career coaching, read dozens of books on the subject, and even pursued a Masters in Career Management at the University of London. These skills helped me become career agile. Having navigated seven career transitions successfully across three countries, I am convinced that anyone can take charge of their career and build meaningful work.
Over the past 20 years, I made it my mission to help smart and talented individuals build meaningful careers, coaching more than 2,000 mid-career professionals.
I've taught the course "Build a Career of Meaning & Impact" at Stanford Continuing Studies for the past eight years. Previously, I worked at the career management centers for three top business schools across the world (Stanford, Cambridge and IESE).
In this Maven course, I’ll share the lessons I've learned in order to help you craft your next meaningful career move and empower you to be in the driver’s seat.
I am fortunate to have a career that I love. You can too.
